Usage-based services — AI, hosting and infrastructure, SMS and email, and third-party services — are billed transparently based on what you actually consume and itemized on one statement. One platform. One itemized statement. No mystery. Your subscription does not increase as your order volume grows, and there is no You-Own platform transaction fee.

Are there really no transaction fees?

There is no You-Own platform transaction fee. You will still pay your chosen payment processor (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Authorize.net) their standard processing rates — you use your preferred supported payment processor, and we do not take a cut of those fees.

How long does migration take?

Same-day migrations are available for qualifying stores. Larger or more complex catalogs are measured in days, not months. Either way, we import your data, map it to our structured formats, and provide a staging site for your review before changing DNS records.

Where is my store hosted?

Accepted Answer

You-Own stores run on enterprise cloud infrastructure, with storefront hosting and file storage on Google Cloud. Capacity scales automatically — up during traffic spikes, back down when things are quiet — so you never pick a server size or manage hosting yourself. Hosting and infrastructure are billed by actual usage at published rates and itemized on your statement, so you pay for the resources your store actually uses.

Who owns my data?

You do. Absolutely and unequivocally. You can export your entire product catalog, customer list, and order history at any time in standard CSV or JSON formats. We do not lock you in.

How much does the AI Builder cost?

Accepted Answer

Basic AI interactions are included in your subscription. For complex data migrations or massive workflow generation, you are billed for the LLM token usage at our published usage rates. The system will always provide an estimated cost for your approval before running any intensive AI tasks.

Can I bring my own developers?

Yes. While You-Own is designed so that owners don't need developers for daily operations, we offer a robust GraphQL API and webhooks if you want to build custom headless frontends, mobile apps, or proprietary integrations.

What happens if I want to cancel?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your site will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You can easily export all your data before the account is closed.
